Danna was born on June 23, 1995, in Mexico City. Her father, Juan José Rivera, was also a musician. Danna entered the entertainment industry at a very young age; at just four years old, she auditioned for the Mexican version of 'Sesame Street' alongside her sister and was selected. Subsequently, in the year 2000—at the age of five—she launched her acting career with a telenovela.
