Manuel Marrero Cruz is the current Prime Minister of Cuba. He was born on July 11, 1963, in Holguín, Cuba. He is a prominent member of the Cuban Communist Party. In the early 1990s, he began his career with the Gaviota tourism group, which was controlled by the Cuban military.
