Julio César Álvarez Montelongo was born on April 11, 1983, in La Concordia, in the Mexican state of Chiapas. His father was a farmer. He had an inclination towards music from childhood. During his school days, he participated in several singing competitions. Later, he left home and moved to Mazatlán, Sinaloa, to pursue a career in music.
