Jason Statham was born on July 26, 1967, in Shirebrook (Derbyshire, England). His mother, Eileen, was a dancer, and his father, Barry Statham, worked as a street vendor. Before entering the world of acting, Jason was a well-known figure in sports and a world-class diver. He was a key member of the British National Diving Squad for 12 consecutive years. Furthermore, he represented England in the diving competition at the 1990 Commonwealth Games.
