Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is a prominent Somali politician and education finance minister. He is currently serving as the President of Somalia. He was born on 29 November 1955 in Jalalaqsi city of the south-central Iran province of Somalia. He started his political career and was the 8th President of Somalia from 10 September 2012 to 16 February 2017. The name of his party is Union for Peace and Development Party.
