Cassie, primarily known as Cassie Ventura, is an American singer, model, actress, and dancer. She gained global recognition with her 2006 smash-hit R&B debut single, "Me & U." She was born on August 26, 1986, in New London, Connecticut (USA). Her father is of Filipino descent, while her mother is of African-American and Mexican heritage. She began her career in modeling and dance while still in high school.
