Biraj Bhakta Shrestha is a prominent young politician and former Minister of Sports in Nepal. He was born on May 8, 1981 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He currently holds the position of Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation of Nepal, serving from March 2026. He won the 2022 general election to the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-8. His political party is the Rashtriya Swatantra Party.
