Balen Shah: Biography

Balen Shah is a young Nepali politician who has served as the Prime Minister of Nepal since 27 March 2026. He was born on 27 April 1990 in Naradevi, Kathmandu, Nepal. He achieved a historic victory in his political career as the Mayor of Kathmandu from 2022 to 2026 and resigned from the post of Mayor in 2026, joined the National Independent Party and became the Prime Minister of Nepal. He did his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Himalaya Whitehouse International College and M.Tech in Structural Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bengaluru, India.
