Alejandro Fernández was born on April 24, 1971, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He is the son of Vicente Fernández, one of Mexico's greatest and most legendary mariachi singers. Music was his birthright, and he performed on stage with his father for the first time at the age of just five.
