Dr. Swarnim Wagle is a prominent Nepali politician who has served as the Finance Minister of Nepal since March 27, 2026. He was born on May 29, 1974 in Gorkha District, Nepal. He is the Vice President of the National Independent Party and has been a Member of the Federal Parliament since 2023. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Australian National University and an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School.
